We’ve included wireframes for the screens described below. Please feel free to use your design skills to change any of the UX including any navigation elements we’ve included. The first 4 screens should be designed with kids in mind, the last (screen 5) should be designed for adults.
Screen (1) - Main/Home Screen. This screen is the main screen for the children in the app. Here the child will see their current friends. Each friend will have an indicator to show how many unread video messages that friend has sent. There should be some indication of the active profile by showing the profile pic at the top somewhere. This can either be the parent or one of the children.
Screen (2) - Video Playback. This screen plays the video messages from the friend. There should be a way to skip to the next/previous videos. A profile picture of the friend should also be included and overlayed over the video.
Screen (3) - Record/Send. This is where the child can record a video response to the friend. This should include a profile pic of the friend you’re sending the video to. After the video is recorded a send button/re-record button will appear.
Screen (4) - Profile. This is a profile screen of the active profile. The user can view and edit their basic info. If the parent is the active profile they can also switch profiles from here.
Screen (5) - My Family Dashboard (Screen 1) - This is the first screen that will be designed for the parent. In this screen the parent can see the stats on each of their children. The parent can also manage invites for their family. The bottom bar is a placeholder navigation element. Please feel free to come up with another navigation paradigm. Other dashboard screens will include a way to manage your children (add/delete) and also manage friends from your entire family.
