jimprosser got their new other design by running a design contest:
Design cover art for a brand-new podcast
Check out jimprosser's Other design contest…
Deep Background with Jim Prosser is a forthcoming podcast about the world of public relations featuring interviews with some of the industry's most successful practitioners and up-and-coming personalities. Hosted by Jim Prosser, a veteran of Google and Twitter and currently the head of comms at SoFi, the podcast explores people's careers, how they see both PR and journalism changing, and the lessons they've learned/tools they've gathered along the way.
What's your vision?
I want a great looking, modern cover art design for the podcast that I can use on iTunes, Soundcloud, etc., and that can also be used as the profile photo on social. Design-wise, I'd like to use artwork over photography, and to do something interesting with the text treatment. Podcasts whose cover art I like are The Vergecast, Tomorrow with Joshua Topolsky, and Pod Save America. The name of the podcast is a reference to a state of discussion PR people have with journalists but also an allusion to the experience sets of the people on the show, if that inspires any creativity (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Source_(journalism)). I like bolder colors over more subdued ones. Spec-wise: it should be in JPEG or PNG file formats and in the RGB color space with a minimum size of 1400 x 1400 pixels and a maximum size of 3000 x 3000 pixels.
