Company connecting ex-criminals with jobs needs product one-sheets
Check out Dan@70MillionJobs's Postcard, flyer or print contest…
70MillionJobs connects the 70 million Americans with a criminal background with jobs at large, national companies around the United States. The target audience for these pieces is: Human Resource Managers, Human Resource Business Partners, Directors of HR, VPs of HR, and other C-Suite members at large companies.
What's your vision?
We are looking to have three different product info sheets designed (will need to be standard 8.5"x11", designed for digital distribution as PDFs, but printable on-demand). The first one is a general overview/summary of service. The second is a description of our process and methadology; kind of a "how does it all work" piece. The third is a "why it is good for business" piece, directly making the case for hiring people with criminal backgrounds. The copy has all been written for each piece and should stay as written unless there is a compelling case to shorten a headline or something. The three pieces need to family together, and each include the same CTA at the end (the graphic treatment of the CTA should be consistent on each piece). The copy is being provided in a word document, as well as in a PDF to give a ROUGH initial idea for the layout.
We'd like each piece to be on as few pages as possible, but not to feel crowded (I know this is an obnoxious ask). It would be great if they could be two pages each (so they could be printed as one page, front and back), but the "Why It's Good For Business" one may need to run to three pages. Horizontal floods/bands of color behind certain sections to draw the eye through the piece could work well. Places in the PDF examples where copy has been given a different color is only to give an idea of hierarchy, or a place where a pull quote/graphic treatment of a stat, etc. should be used. On the methodology piece, we'd like to see the 1, 2, 3 of the three steps really graphically emphasized, and would love some type of icon/illustration of each of the steps (email sent, text received, phone call) We'd like to see the same Q&A design treatment done to each piece. I am attaching some images that we have used in different capacities. These can be leveraged if they work with the content and design, but we encourage you to recommend other stock images that you think would work well. I am also attaching an example of a designed product one-sheet for a different company that we like and had in mind while writing the copy for ours. We've been using color #075cac (blue) recently as a background color in email headers, etc. Not necessary to include, just an option. You can review 70millionjobs.com for reference, but the site is currently targeted to job-seekers, not the HR audience that these pieces will be used for.
