You are being asked to develop a look for our new brand - a line of hair growth products, starting with a vitamin supplement.
This product will be marketed towards both men and women so we are looking for a gender neutral design.
I really like the idea of using a shiny platinum/silver color but I haven't been able to make it work. The bottle color we are using is blue so I think it could look great if the right designer worked on it. I am open to any and all designs. In order to use silver (or gold for that matter) in the label, I would need to use these specific colors so they would show up shiny on the printed label;
871 C Metallic Gold
877 C Metallic Silver
The design is to be edgy, contemporary, modern. The use of rotated fonts, and clean, crisp lines is encouraged. You have complete freedom in many design elements. Including font selection, color (mind you, I'd like silver to be the main color, background for label), font orientation / rotation, rule lines, and logo design (the Vie Naturelle text/logo can be improved upon). The practicalities of manufacturing limit the creative freedom slightly. The product will be labeled using a clear label stock with 4 color process printing. Your art must fit within the die line of the label for the appropriate size package.
I will attach two product examples (they are shampoos but you can get an idea of the style we are after for the vitamins).
Please note, I have uploaded the bar code for you to use on this label as an individual file. I have also added the ingredient label which contains the correct dosage of ingredients. Some of the ingredients as sown on the mock product label are incorrectly labeled, so please use the file, "dht ingredient" and use these ingredient names and dosage amounts when creating the final label. The blends/complexes and everything else on the mock product label ingredient section are fine and can be kept as is. Just need to make sure the ingredient names and amounts match the dht ingredients image.
For final delivery, please provide a pdf as well as deliver the native art files in whatever program you use to create the art - InDesign, Illustrator, et cetera. Any fonts used must be provided with the native art files.
