Five variations (5 scents) of a LABEL DESIGN for our glass bottle of d’OFTIUM fragrance body oil (no box or outer packaging).
The name d’OFTIUM is the key identification for the brand. LOGO designs attached can be used in different colors.
We ask you to create and include a symbol/monogram/royal crest in the label.
The d'OFTIUM tag line “CAPTURE MEMORIAE VESTIUM SENSU” (opitional) could be used in the labels in a very small text size, capital letters.
Bottle we are using:
Clear 1 fl. Oz. / 30ml glass bottle with natural spray, the oil is fairly transparent. The metal cap of the bottle is black, golden or silver depending on your design. See attached examples of two potential bottles and caps. The back side of one of the bottles is patterned. We have not decided which of the bottles to use yet.
Size of both bottles fronts are 40 mm width and 68 mm height.
Key required Label elements:

*Call to action phrase: "Dress in your feelings – scense your mood"

Initially and within this task 5 scent variations will be developed but the label design should be easy to adapt to new scents as we envisage up to 50 scents in the body oil range over the next few years. The label design should be similar in structure and layout across the scents variations for easy brand identification.

The different scents should be differentiated on the label by the variant name eg Strong tobacco, Calm breeze etc… but preferably also by changing or adapting a design element or changing the color scheme of the label. See attached examples where color has been used to differentiate variation.
We believe it is important that the scent name is highlighted and clearly visible on the label as this is a key identification for potential customers who try out many scents before choosing which one to buy. We believe the scent should be more visible on the label than the logo.
The label could have a frame, or two or none. The label could be squared, circular, rectangular or irregular. The label could have a patterned background or not. You could use animal print, botanical inspiration or something else in your label design.
The label of d’OFTIUM fragrance body oils should communicate the brand personality: inspiring, curious, confident, edgy, creative.
Our aim is that the label is creating such interest that the potential customer is encouraged and influenced to pick up the bottle from the shop shelf and smell the scent and then smell the next (up to 50 scents).
Innovative thinking is encouraged for the product to stand out in the buzz and to create interest in this innovative range.
