Maja has done a splendid job responding to the design brief. Not only she managed to capture what I was looking for, but also allowed me to see a different way of thinking about the logo. Many other designers have simply copied the examples I attached to the brief, which made them look like copies, Maja's approach however was creative and original.
Secondly, we went through a number of versions of the design and Maja mocked up three strong variations of the logo, which I put to a poll. She was responsive to my change requests and I feel like we were "on the same page" throughout this process.
