This is the cover design I did for the Sci-Fi novel "Lunation" which is the first of a series. I had to think and come up with an idea which should also go along with what the client wanted me to include. I decided go with a wrap around design and since this is a space exploration type of book, I went with a minimal but futuristic approach. The color scheme I used also matter because this story involves the moon so I used a grey-ish color scheme. David, who is the author of this book was highly satisfied with the design and together we perfected it by making minor changes. This is the final design we came up with.
