I was introduced to Kith + Kin through an old co-worker of mine. Right from the jump the project seemed like it would be a fun one to tackle. I have never been tasked to take on design + development for a child center before, but after speaking with their team, I knew it would be a good fit. While the project was only supposed to last 4 weeks, it ended up getting pushed back to around 6 months from start to finish. Not due to the client’s fault, but getting delayed on building permits, etc.
This has been one of my biggest projects to date, just due to the amount of content + custom elements on the website. We wanted to make the website informative, but also fun and interactive for the user to land and engage with. The whole theme is children’s play, so the last thing that we wanted to achieve was to make a boring website.
Overall, the project was a success and one of the more fun clients that I have ever gotten to work with.
