How ScottUCode started their signage journey
Who are you known as?

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
UCode teaches kids and teens computer science through its instructor-led classes available throughout 4 locations in Southern California. Students aged 6-19 mentored and taught to code websites, apps and more. They begin their learning journey by mastering Scratch and move onto CSS and HTML. Advanced coding classes are also available. We connect young students in a classroom setting to share projects and experiences and help build camaraderie in our community. Our students are continually challenged to be creative and to problem solve to best prepare them to excel in high school computer science and further their learnings at the college level. UCode instructors support students by sharing their knowledge and passion for computer science and celebrate student milestones achieved throughout our curriculum. UCode is a as fun as it is academic.
Target audience is male and female parents (70% female) of children ages 6-19 that earn an average household income of $100,000-$250,000 a year.
We are currently rebuilding our website, http://www.ucode.com, so the current branding is not for future use. You don’t need to match it.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
UCode has four retail campus locations throughout Southern California. We would like to increase brand awareness of our learning campuses by creating an A Frame sign that can be placed outside the campus on the sidewalk for parents or guardians walking or driving by the retail location will notice.
The goal of the A Frame is to create awareness for the campus and have the prospect take action to walk in or call UCode. We will promote “Now Enrolling” and “Free Trial” to engage people to give UCode a try for their child. We need to showcase that we are a learning campus and not an online coding program.
The A Frame must include the following:
888-888-8681 (there will one local # per location) http://www.ucode.com
Test tagline (code your world)
Note: If content is heavy, please remove Ages 6-19.
UCode logo will be provided for inclusion
You may select classroom lifestyle photos of a young male working at a computer in a modern classroom setting. Not an at home setting.
Actual code will be provided that you may incorporate. You may also recommend stock HTML or CSS code for inclusion.
Color scheme should be primary blues. We use a green ‘submit’ for online. You may create a color pallette of your choice with the inclusion of blue and green.
