The Scholar's Choice Foundation
We are a non-profit foundation that builds large-scale software systems for school districts -- our systems keep track of all the data schools use daily: student and staff data, attendance, grades, behavior, course schedules, health records, online course work, and a lot more!
We need a 4' (tall) x 8' (wide) sign that will hang as the back-drop for our booth at tradeshows.
We are looking for a sign that includes our current logo (perhaps in a top corner, but we're flexible on that point), and we want the rest of the sign to consist of interlocking gears with the names of the different components of our software system. We are unique because our software includes so many different pieces all in one system, so we want to convey that.
Include the words: "Reinventing the Learning Platform" prominently on the upper half of the sign. We want a sign with a serious/professional look.
Our foundation colors are royal blue and yellow/gold. You can see the exact colors in our logo (attached). We would like the sign to look cohesive with the logo, but the gears can be all different colors.
We have also attached a picture of some gears that we like. We like the larger tooth/cog size and that it looks like the gears are fitting together like puzzle pieces. We also like that these gears look simple so the sign will not look cluttered given the number of gears we need. That particular view/perspective of the way the gears are angled so they kind of go back into the page is quite nice.
The more important parts of our system are to be represented by larger gears. We've attached a list of the words for each gear and relative sizes.
We are open to the words on each gear going either around the edge of the gear or in the center of each gear.
