artlouay:) was wonderful to work with! Committed to helping me design a logo that I loved, made every requested change, and was consistently available throughout the design contest. Thank you!
It was great working with Makinum, professional, responsive and accommodating to all our requirements including final design tweaking and improvements. Thank you.
Great to work with.
Great designer, love his work.
Highly responsive and professional. I appreciate when a designer can create a vision from what you describe. It's hard to find someone who can understand what you want, even when you yourself are unsure. Will definitely use again in the future!

this would be a cool picture to incorporate
I would like the logo to form something like an arrow and have the details be within the arrow or arrow head! I also have examples of other logos of ideas that stood out but one for sure I would like mine to resemble and ideas to build on what am looking for.
So for my logo here are suggestions I gave...I like the feel of this logo but feel we can make modifications to make sure it portrays what we offer as a company and most importantly utilize the negative space. The logo i like the best and one i would like mine to resemble is the Pittsburgh zoo, I feel they kept it fairly simple while maximizing all the negative space in the logo. The tree logo is good idea because utilizing the roots maybe cool to incorporate more things in the logo and representing how we grow things and manage land for habitat improvement. The blue logo was just neat use of negative space.
My logo is what I feel we should work with for a base. Here are my suggestions to modifying my existing logo to make sure I am able to portray what it is that we do as a company and make sure i get what I'm looking for in a logo. I like the color schemes they used in my existing logo but am not stuck on them. Open to different variations. I'm also looking for the logo to look good on a t-shirt, business card, website, hat, and letter head.
Archer - I like the archer but with the name be Southpaw Draw it is a must that the archer is left handed! So he should be on the opposite side of the logo and preferably aiming down towards the buck. I also feel he should be in a tree from a stand or hidden in corn, or beans by the feet. The archer should be more discrete, or incognito. In tree in the background would probably be best.
Dog - The picture is great and is a picture of my actual dog which i can also submit. I would just like that glimpse of that dark spot on his right side, that signifies who he is, and he has to have his tail signaling he is on point.
Buck - Looks great but again is an actual buck harvested so want to use that buck. I have additional pictures of him but like that one. I would prefer him to be somewhat hidden but still seen maybe behind corn or negative space of a tree etc. He should also be on the opposite side of the logo as well so and flipped so he would be facing to the right not the left.
Tree - the tree is a nice touch but does not lean towards what we offer. Meaning we help people find their dream property and if not or they already have property we do habitat improvement for them. So white oak trees and even apple trees make sense. I feel there should be sign of sprouting or growth. Ideas that come to mind maybe have the tree look like it is sprouting from an acorn, or corn on the opposite side of the logo sprouting from a cob. Or have roots to the tree underground and have that connect to the rest of the logo. Possibly have an white oak leaf falling from the sky, just things that point our customers in what we do for them as a company. HABITAT IMPROVEMENT
Pheasant - The pheasant needs to be in the picture and the dog looking at him but does not have to be that bird it can be a different pheasant in the picture. I feel placing the bird in a spot that can help form something else with negative space would be good.
Mission Statement - Not sure how we can incorporate the mission statement but maybe written in the tree branches or possibly even spelled out with in the roots of the tree.
