Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
This is an online product, but is delivered as a service. Its not a company, it’s an online “thing” that users participate in. It is an online portal, but also an “engine” that provides an interactive learning experience. To the learning institution it is a “product” that is part of their tools they use to teach their students. To the student it is a “service” tool which helps and supports their learning.
Perdoco is a scenario learning simulator designed to allow students to learn and experience concepts through direct exposure to cause and effect. The scenario provides a simulated context for the many decisions that are presented to the player, each one with influences and consequences which help shape their understanding of the concepts at work. Along the way the scenario offers targeted mico-lectures which are aimed at supporting the student’s just-in-time learning. It is a simulator, an interactive learning tool and a detailed reporting system.
