We prefer to stick to the logo we currently have AND we are open to minor tweaks and changes to it if it adds value. We have just rebranded and don't want to go too far away from this existing design to prevent confusing our audience. We do have a second logo option that I've uploaded that we are contemplating but we will leave it up to you, the expert, to decide!
We have our brand colors in place but we are open to mild variances of them. We would prefer to stick to muted shades of red and blue. This will all be shared with you in the attached documents.
What we're looking for is a "refresh" of sorts to our site. We would like it to appear more academic and strongly feel that adding a serif font such as Baskerville would help with that. Of course, we are open to other fonts as well.
We need to elevate our look and feel to something that feels more distinguished and educational - more "modern ivy-league", if you will, that's still sleek and easy on the eyes. It also needs to be more cohesive since our look and feel seems a bit all over the place now. We are open to our secondary colors for our certification courses (you will see them in the attached document) changing as well although we would prefer to nail the main colors first as these secondary colors will only be used sparingly with our web redesign.
We really feel that bold typography will be the key here. We are open to having images of food but the people in our community are really key. We want people to see people doing that they want to do in the world and be inspired by that!
We would also love to avoid the sliders that contain testimonials and use the testimonials as stand-alones.
Also, based our our previous development experience that left us unable to edit our website (maybe you've been there?) we would really love to go with the Wordpress Theme X or Pro (https://theme.co/) to avoid that in the future. We don't anticipate this will limit your designs but it's something to be aware of. Basically, you do you and we will make the devlopment piece work!
