shadowfeet got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Online Magazine/Music Blog Design & Logo
Check out shadowfeet's Web page design contest…
The design is for an online magazine/music blog (and logo) that I am creating and needs a professional and attractive look.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: black/grey/white and #A11533 Desired Style: mainstream/grunge Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) I am looking for a magazine style design, with a mix between mainstream/grunge look to it. The site needs to have a 3 column homepage, and a 2 column article page (with sidebars on the right hand side) (no wider than 980px) Â The color scheme is open for suggestion, but I prefer something with a darker (grey or black) background with a white body area. Preferable link/accent color to be #A11533. Â The header should be able to accommodate a 468x60 ad in the right side, and homepage and sidebars should also accommodate typical ad sizes for monetization. Â Homepage should have plenty of eyecandy (images, a spot for video, etc) to appeal to the mainstream crowd. Even though parts of the site will be a blog, I want the homepage to appear as a website. Sites to use as inspiration: http://www.the9513.com/ http://www.orange.co.uk/ http://wc10.allmusic.com/ http://musicnation.com/ http://www.militarytimes.com/ http://www.crosswalk.com/ Â
