Planet Freight Web Design

This is a redesign of an existing site. We are switching our name from Paper Valley Logisitics Inc. to Planet Freight Inc. We would like the new site to reflect our “new” image. The website needs to give a worldly view and creates legitimacy.

We wanted to update our look and broaden our image to include all types of freight and a greater geographical presence.  We would like something to imply movement but not necessarily a truck.  It is also important that the website have a professional, stable image since a lot of our competitors are fly by night operators.

What do we do? We basically arrange pickup and delivery of freight for our customer.  This could involve multiple types of transportation.

Target Audience

Agents will access the site to determine if they would like to be employed by us.

Customer will be accessing the site to see if we could fulfill their shipment needs.  They also need to easily request a quote

Carriers will be accessing the site to access our load board on a daily basis for available loads in their areas. 

All parties also need to access forms for a variety of purposes.  

Look & Feel

We want something clean and easy to use, that coordinates with the color scheme of our logo.

We don’t want any flash animation for the whole site, flash components would be OK but not required.
