Wonderful to work with and very pleased with the outcome!
Communication and timing was very nice.
Stellar work, another successful project completed. We have been working on tasks to slowly upgrade the look, feel, and usability our our website and the designs provided have been amazing. We have been receiving tons of positive feedback from our users and it's thanks to Alex's hard work.

How freenet_project started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We develop software designed to allow people to communicate over the Internet, free from government censorship. We are a voluntary non-profit organization supported by donations and our software is made freely available to everyone.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
freenetproject.org (although please don't take inspiration from this)
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We want a design that communicates openness and freedom (we view this as a serious problem with our existing website, with its dark colors). Light open colors are probably best.
The website has four goals:
1) Educate new users about Freenet's goals
2) Help users install and use Freenet
3) Encourage users to donate to the project to fund development
4) Encourage qualified people to contribute their voluntary efforts to the project
The homepage should provide a brief introduction to Freenet, and invite the user to "download", "learn", "donate", or "volunteer", the 4 key goals of the website. We should probably have call-to-actions for each of those.
The second page should be a generic page with a lot of space for body text that can be reused for more detailed information. It should have a menu at the top, perhaps corresponding to the 4 key areas, "download", "learn", "donate", or "volunteer".
Please do not take any inspiration from our current website at https://freenetproject.org/. We want to go in a different design direction and are looking for fresh ideas.
