Great designs, worked well with feedback and making necessary changes. Really went the extra mile in our contest!

How Jamesmoran1 started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
LiveSportsTickets will be the premier marketplace for sports tickets in North America, offering great seats for nearly every sport and event. Beyond any specific demographic, this website is geared first and foremost toward sports fans considering attending an event. We want to connect with people who appreciate the live sports experience and the website needs to reflect that passion. This company is about the feeling you get when the lights dim and the game is about to begin, or the excitement you feel during that critical moment of the game. We sell experiences, and we share the passion our customers have.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
We are somewhat partial to blue as a primary color. but we're not overly attached. Black could work well, or even grey. We will know the right design when we see it.
Although the content is technically for one page (the home page), we are looking for a new website design and logo that can we can easily apply across the entire site (a brand identity). We want you to take this brand concept and make it your own. We're looking for something that is modern, clean, and professional. The design should immediately convey the passion and emotion of a live sports event, without being too over the top or in your face. Being an e-commerce site, usability remains the #1 priority. It has to be very simple and clear where the conversion paths are and how to reach them.
What to avoid
Anything generic. This site has to be memorable and professional. We don't want it to look like anything else out there in the ticket market right now.
The winning design will be the one that best combines the emotion of the live sports experience with the professionalism and usability required of a high volume retail site. We are looking to build a brand from the ground up in a very competitive market - your design is the first and we believe most important step in that process. Please don't hesitate to request more information either publicly or via private message is anything is unclear. Thank you and good luck!
