Hi everyone! Thanks for considering working with us! My wife and I have been building this business slowly over the last 2 years (i.e. working on it part-time while trying to make it our full-time gig). We've learned a lot about the industry and made a bunch of mistakes, and now we want to learn from this and change the direction. Right now we spend a lot of our time doing logistics work on our yoga retreats. Things like organizing rooms/airline reservations/insurance/answering silly yet important questions etc... - which has turned out to be too much work for too little pay (and less time to spend with our 2 kids)... I should say that I'm also a yoga teacher and so we absolutely love what we do! We just want to do more of the good parts : ) WIth this in mind, we want our efforts to focus on marketing other peoples events and leave the coordination to them i.e the retreat leaders. In this new role, we want to be without question THE best in the industry at it : ) Please see a brief outline of our clients below: 1. Yoga Studios/Teachers who are leading the retreats (min. 2 nights/domestic/international). They want inexpensive listings to advertise their event, with a targeted audience. Their goal is to fill spaces in their retreat. They pay us to list. 2. Yoga Students. They want to find a retreat that meets their needs (priority = on the dates they have available; within their budget; some form of connection to the location/teacher/style of yoga). No charge for this service as they browse our existing listings. 3. Yoga Retreat Centers. They want yoga teachers to choose their location to host their retreat. They pay us to list. So what is our service/offering? In this industry (yoga + travel) our site really needs to convey a certain sense of peace and visual relaxation. That's why many people step on their mats in the first place, to let go of all the stress in their lives...

1. Our big hairy audacious goal is to be the number one ranked website for 'yoga retreats.' We would love it for people to think of us first when they consider hosting or going on a yoga retreat. Also, one of our long-term revenue goals is to target like-minded advertisers (i.e. Manduka) after building sufficient traffic to our website. So this first step in defining our new business direction is really important for us. 2. Going on these types of week-long trips are truly a life-changing event for people, and we want to help as many people as possible feel this way. 3.
