Taschenbuch und e-book: Romantasy (Liebe und Fantasy) für junge Frauen und alle, die gerne fantasievolle Liebesromane lesen.

What's your vision?

Ich suche ein auffälliges, aber wunderschönes Buchcover für Taschenbuch und e-book, das sich um einen Engel und eine Menschfrau dreht (Liebespaar). Dieses Paar muss aber nicht vorkommen. Ich will, dass das Cover vor allem neugierig macht auf den Inhalt. Vor allem jugendliche Mädchen und Frauen sollen dabei ins Schwärmen kommen. ;-) Das Cover soll es in 3 verschiedenen Coverfarben (für möglichen Mehrteiler) geben. Muss aber nicht zwingend notwendig sein! Titel: Der schwarze Engel

Das Cover darf romantisch, aber auch verspielt sein. Es darf ruhig neugierig auf den Inhalt machen. Das Buch handelt von einer unsterblichen Liebe zwischen einem Engel und einer Menschenfrau, die immer wieder reinkarniert. Ein Kampf zwischen Gut und Böse. Liebe und Hass. Titel: Der schwarze Engel

No words can ever begin to describe how extraordinary the talents are of Lady Elizia. This is the second book cover she has created for me, and her creativity knows no bounds. I always love seeing what she creates when she brings the briefs to life, and always I am blown away. She is professional and communicative and reads through a brief and the author's desires entirely before diving in. I will continue to collaborate with her throughout this series, as I do not trust anyone else to bring the characters and their stories to life.

Original Artwork - Custom made by using Photoshop & 3D software. "The story takes place in rocky prairie, so perhaps a background of that with some rolling hills of prairie grass and a few isolated stands of trees. The Sun is a major factor in the novel so should be prominent. One character is the Day Knight, represented by the Sun, and another is the Dog Knight, ideally represented by a stereotypical spiked dog collar somewhere on the cover. My initial thought was a bloody sword stuck in the grass with a dog collar hanging around the hilt and the Sun bright in the sky. The antagonist of the book is a devil that lives in a bog not too far away, so I thought perhaps there could be a looming darkness or something of the sort. Some indication of lurking danger."

I wanted to create a cinematic layout that screamed historical romance. The woman was photo manipulated to resemble the characteristics of the heroine and the duel scene at the back cover was created out of different stock elements. I also added some aging effects to the title font to make it look more appropriate for this genre and give a more unique feel to the overall layout.

“Help! Ik Verveel Me” (translated from Dutch "Help! I’m bored") is the story about Sarah, an 11 years old girl, and a crazy idea of her parents: a week without a phone. Without it, Sarah doesn't know what to do. But because she is bored, she dreams about so many things and she finds out that a little boredom is not so bad. It makes her creative. The design was made using some of the illustrations of Charmaine Lam, that also appear in the interior of the book. As these illustrations represent drawings as being made by a child, I kept the same style in order to respect the initial vision of the illustrator and the author. I had to dedicate a special attention to all the new elements that were added to the book cover. For that, I followed the same kind of trace and textures of the existing images. However, the colors were slightly intensified to catch the attention of the viewers. The choice of fonts also helped to give a certain “childish style” to the entire design.
